Our project tackles the issue of the lack of constructive informing about the protracted regional conflicts in the Eastern Partnership countries and security in the region in general.  We are tackling this issue through constructive informing about conflicts, improved access to information and media development through education. At the heart of this project lies our flagship annual event – the South Caucasus Security Forum 2019. The Forum tackles the issues through increasing access to information about regional security, expert discussion on overcoming these issues and forming effective partnerships for future cooperation in this area. The second activity tackling these issues is our brand new intensive course in journalism and conflict analysis, transformation and reconciliation. This course, aimed at youth from different conflict sides in the Eastern Partnership countries and young professionals in Central Europe, provides key capacity building for the future generation, employing it with tools to transform conflicts towards resolution. The course combines journalistic techniques and theory with courses on conflict psychology, approaches to conflict, conflict prediction and prevention, conflict analysis and working with information. The course puts great emphasis on putting contemporary techniques and approaches into practice.
